About this resource
This initiative supplies volunteers to aid with shopping, transportation, and companionship. It fosters independence through shared activities, rides, and social interaction. Additionally, it offers brief respite for primary caregivers. There are volunteer roles available, and income-eligible volunteers may receive a modest stipend along with mileage reimbursement.

Who can use this
- Participants in the program include homebound older adults and adults with disabilities who are independent, ambulatory (using a cane or walker under 10 lbs.), require weekly transportation, and seek companionship; volunteers must be 55 years or older.
