About this resource
The Oregon Department of Education partners with local agencies to deliver a comprehensive system of no-cost services aimed at young children with developmental delays and disabilities, along with their families. This includes Early Intervention (EI), which provides tailored services for children from birth to three years old and offers parental support to foster children's physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive growth. Additionally, Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) offers specialized instruction for children aged 3 until they are eligible for public school, focusing on areas such as communication, cognitive skills, social/emotional development, and adaptive skills.

Fees: There are no charges.
Who can use this
- Children from birth to school age suspected of having developmental delays or disabilities can receive free screening and evaluation, with those confirmed eligible for EI/ECSE services.
