About this resource
Relief nurseries are designed to assist families with young children who are particularly vulnerable to abuse and neglect. They offer significant support to high-risk families via personalized case management. LifeWorks NW delivers comprehensive services tailored for these families, which encompass early childhood intervention, as well as social, emotional, and family support. Additional offerings include mental health services, trauma assessments, expertise in traumatic stress, home visits, classes for parents and infants or toddlers, art and music therapy, respite childcare, and weekly parenting classes based on the "Making Parenting a Pleasure" curriculum. Enrollment of parents and children is necessary to access most services.
