About this resource
This initiative provides a syringe exchange to help curb the spread of HIV and other infections among drug injectors. Participants can obtain safer injection supplies, receive counseling, access safer sex information and materials, and get free, confidential HIV and Hepatitis C testing, along with referrals for other drug treatment services. The program follows a one-for-one (1:1) syringe exchange policy, allowing users to exchange the same number of syringes they return, but individuals will not be denied service if they do not have syringes to return.
