Senior Citizens Council Of Clackamas County
Community Resource
About this resource
The program provides guardianship, conservatorship, family support, case management, and advocacy through various initiatives. The Guardianship/Conservatorship Program assists individuals who cannot make sound decisions regarding their welfare and lack family or friends to take on these roles. If all other options have been exhausted, the agency can act as the Guardian or Conservator. Meanwhile, the Guardianship Diversion Program focuses on exploring all possible alternatives before pursuing legal adjudication. This program includes client assessments, personal support, short-term counseling, placement assistance, case monitoring, outreach, community education on alternatives to guardianship, and referrals to local resources.
Intake Procedure: Contact for application details or referrals.
Fees: For Guardianship/Conservatorship, the cost is $100 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments, with services provided regardless of financial capability if funding allows. The Guardianship Diversion service costs $35 per hour, also charged in 15-minute increments, and is similarly accessible based on funding availability.
