About this resource

This service provides in-home assistance, encompassing tasks such as housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, transportation, and meal preparation and delivery. It also includes adult day services, which are community-based programs that operate for part of the day without residential facilities. Registered nurse services are available for one-time or periodic assessments, service planning, medication oversight, provider training, and education. The number of service hours provided varies according to assessed needs and available funding, and benefits will not be subjected to estate recovery.
