About this resource
WIC is a public health initiative aimed at enhancing health outcomes and shaping lifelong nutrition and health habits for women, infants, and children. The program offers nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, monthly benefits for nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Fees: No fees are required.
Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not necessary for WIC participation) -Be pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding, or have a child under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians can apply for eligible children. -Have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Those receiving OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically considered income-eligible for WIC. -Demonstrate a nutritional risk (evaluated at the appointment).
