About this resource
This initiative focuses on recruiting, training, and supporting community volunteers who take on the role of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). These volunteers work to advocate for the rights of children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are currently under the care of juvenile courts. The main goal is to ensure that each child finds a safe and permanent home as swiftly as possible.
Intake Process: Referrals are accepted from the district court.
Location: The program is situated within the same complex as Coos Health and Wellness and Advanced Health.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this service.
