About this resource
This organization provides multiple assistance programs for rent and rental deposits, as well as transitional housing aimed at families. The programs include: -Home Tenant Based Assistance (HTBA): Offers a rental subsidy for 6-12 months to individuals with very low income, with a waitlist determined by the application date and preference points. -Family Transitions Program: Designed for homeless participants with minor children, it provides short-term rental assistance for 3-6 months. -Transitional Housing (HSP): Offers transitional housing for families with children who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. -Deposit-Only Assistance: This program provides a one-time aid for a rental security deposit, capped at twice the rent, contingent on the property passing inspection. Income-eligible applicants can apply, but funding is not guaranteed. -Rental Assistance Program (RAP): Offers one-time rental assistance for up to one month's rent, requiring recipients to demonstrate future rent affordability. This service is limited to once per year per household, and funding is not assured.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call or visit the website for more details, or walk in to complete an application.
Travel/Location: The office is situated in the same complex as Coos Health and Wellness and Advanced Health.
Fees: There are no fees associated with these services.
