North Bend City Coos-Curry Housing Authorities
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides community members with access to affordable housing options. The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program operates on a tenant-based assistance model, meaning that the support follows the tenant as long as they qualify for the program. While the Housing Authority does not act as a landlord, it aids in covering rent payments to landlords. Public Housing units are owned and overseen by the Housing Authority, providing unit-based assistance; if a family vacates a unit, the assistance remains tied to that unit. A small pet may be permitted with prior approval before moving in.
Intake Process: Contact for more details. Applications can be found online.
Fees: The Housing Authority does not charge any fees for applying or receiving rental assistance, although tenants may need to contribute a portion of the rent if they qualify for assistance.
