About this resource
This program offers the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly referred to as food stamps, to eligible individuals through an EBT card, known as the Oregon Trail Card.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is assessed individually: -Income must not exceed 200% of the federal poverty level, calculated as monthly income before taxes -Various factors influence eligibility and the amount of monthly SNAP benefits, including income source, housing expenses, utility bills, medical costs for individuals aged 60 and older or those with disabilities, and family member relationships -Additional criteria may apply for students, immigrants, and adults aged 18-52 without dependents -Applicants must be U.S. citizens or fulfill certain non-citizen criteria.
