About this resource

This program offers food assistance through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly referred to as food stamps, to eligible individuals via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, known as the Oregon Trail Card.

Who can use this

  • Eligibility is assessed individually: -Income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, calculated as monthly income before taxes -Additional factors influencing eligibility and the SNAP benefit amount include income sources, housing expenses, utility bills, out-of-pocket medical costs for individuals aged 60 and older or those with disabilities, and family member relationships -Certain groups, including students, immigrants, and adults aged 18-52 without dependents, may face extra requirements beyond income limits -Applicants must be U.S. citizens or fulfill specific non-citizen criteria to qualify for SNAP.
