About this resource
WIC is a public health initiative aimed at enhancing health outcomes and shaping lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. The program offers nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, monthly allowances for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four criteria: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is NOT a requirement) -Be pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding, or have a child or infant under the age of 5. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may also apply for a qualifying child. They must also meet income guidelines.
