About this resource
The program engages youth in employment on public lands through a hands-on educational initiative focused on natural resources. Participants are involved in physically demanding tasks and may face challenges such as insects, harsh weather, and tough working conditions. They receive minimum wage and have the opportunity to obtain an industrial certification. Transportation from Heart of Oregon Corps to the work site is included.

Who can use this
- Youth aged 16-18 at the time of enrollment, who are permanent U.S. residents and eligible for work, can apply, with no prior experience necessary.
