About this resource
This initiative provides screenings and diagnostic services for breast and cervical cancer via a network of healthcare providers. Its goal is to alleviate the cancer burden through early detection, risk assessment, education, and connecting patients to medical treatment.
Intake Procedure: Schedule an appointment by phone.
Travel/Location: Situated within the Deschutes County Health Services building.
Fees: No charges apply.
Who can use this
- - Individuals aged 18-39 requiring breast or cervical cancer diagnostic services (as determined by a clinician) - Individuals aged 40 and above needing breast or cervical cancer screening and/or diagnostic services - Must reside or plan to reside in Oregon - Household income must be at or below 250% of the federal poverty level - Must be uninsured or have insufficient insurance coverage - Men of any age showing symptoms of breast cancer can access breast and genetic services. U.S. citizenship is not a requirement for participation in the ScreenWise program.
