About this resource

This program offers the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly referred to as food stamps, to eligible individuals. Benefits are provided through an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, also known as the Oregon Trail Card.

Who can use this

  • Eligibility is assessed individually: -Income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, calculated as monthly income before taxes -Various factors influence eligibility and the amount of SNAP benefits, including income sources, housing and utility costs, medical expenses for individuals aged 60 and older or those with disabilities, and family member relationships -Additional criteria may apply for students, immigrants, and adults aged 18-52 without dependents, beyond the income guidelines -Applicants must be U.S. citizens or satisfy specific non-citizen criteria to qualify for SNAP.
