About this resource

Summer EBT is a program designed to assist families in acquiring food for their school-aged children when schools are closed. Each summer, eligible families receive a single payment of $120 on an EBT card for each qualifying child to help with grocery expenses. Any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days after issuance. A helpline is available for inquiries regarding general information, eligibility, application status, and EBT card assistance.

Intake Procedure: Applications for 2026 benefits can be submitted at any time.

Fees: There are no associated fees.
