About this resource
This initiative serves as a centralized entry point for accessing housing services, employing an assessment system to evaluate the needs of households. Available services encompass rent assistance, emergency shelter, deposit aid, and utility support. Assistance is restricted to once per calendar year for each household and is contingent on available funding, thus not guaranteed. Payments are made directly to service providers.
Intake Process: Referrals must come from Central Oregon’s Coordinated Entry System (CES). Once referred, RootedHomes will reach out to the applicant directly.
Location: The facility is situated across from BottleDrop.
Fees: There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Eligible households include those sleeping outdoors, in shelters, living in vehicles without utilities, or exiting institutions after a short stay while having previously experienced homelessness.
Documents you may need
- Date of birth, name, and Social Security number for all household members. Signed Social Security card and third-party homeless certification, if applicable. Copy of rental agreement and eviction notice, if applicable. Proof of income for the last 30 days for all household members age 18 and older.
