About this resource
The initiative involves agreements with local agencies to establish a comprehensive system of complimentary services for young children experiencing developmental delays and disabilities, along with their families. This includes Early Intervention (EI), which provides customized services for children and parental support to foster improvements in various developmental areas such as physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive skills. Additionally, Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) offers specialized instruction targeting communication, cognitive, social/emotional, adaptive skills, and more.

Who can use this
- Children aged 0 to school age with suspected developmental delays or disabilities can receive free screening and evaluation, with those confirmed to have delays or disabilities qualifying for EI/ECSE services.
