This initiative delivers extensive support via tailored case management, parenting education, home visits, and group activities. Children are engaged in therapeutic classrooms with a low adult-to-child ratio, while families benefit from home visits that encourage healthy parenting and child development. The Preschool Promise is available at all sites except La Pine.

Travel/Location: The program is located at the intersection of SW Timber Avenue and SW 27th Street, northeast of the Umatilla Sports Complex.

Fees: There are no associated costs.

Who can use this

-Services are available for children aged 6 weeks to 3 years from high-risk families. -Preschool Promise is for ages 3-5, with a requirement to be 3 by September 1st. -Both parent and child must be enrolled to access most services. Households classified as 'high-risk' may face challenges such as poverty, high stress, mental health issues, unreliable transportation, single parenthood, criminal history, past child abuse, substance use, unemployment, low self-esteem, limited education, anger management problems, homelessness, or social isolation.
