About this resource
This volunteer initiative assists low-income residents by providing yard maintenance, minor construction, and home repairs. For instance, constructing ramps for individuals who use wheelchairs qualifies as minor construction, but extensive roof repairs are not included.
Intake Process: Homeowners in need of help must complete an application, which can be obtained from the Reedsport Family Resource Center, Ace Hardware, Umpqua Building and Hardware, or participating churches in the Lower Umpqua Ministerial Association, such as the Reedsport Church of God. Volunteer applications can also be found at these locations.
Location: The program operates at the intersection of S 22nd Street and Birch Avenue.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Homeowners who are low-income or elderly can apply, but each household is limited to two uses of the program.
