About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) provides support for families who are employed, enrolled in school, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) to help cover child care costs, including registration fees.

Application Process: Applications can be submitted online, via phone, or in person at a local ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.

Location: Accessible on the UCAN Bus Line.

Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning families may still be responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay). The copay amount is determined by the family's size and income.
