About this resource
This public health initiative is focused on enhancing health outcomes and shaping lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. The program includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding support, monthly allowances for supplemental nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Fees: There are no fees involved.
Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not a necessity) -Be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under the age of 5. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child. -Have a household income that is below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Families enrolled in OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically deemed income-eligible for WIC. -Have a nutritional risk, which will be evaluated during the appointment.
