County Veterans Service Offices (CVSOs) act as the primary access points for veterans, their dependents, and survivors to learn about the benefits, resources, and entitlements available to them. CVSOs offer a range of services including: - Counseling on veterans' benefits and assistance with claims preparation, along with advocacy during the claims process - Guidance on federal VA benefits and additional state and federal benefits - Help with educational benefit claims - Support for veterans seeking health care enrollment - Aid in obtaining military service documents - Information on service-connected and non-service-related disability benefits, survivor benefits, and burial benefits - Guidance regarding veteran home loans - Oregon Veterans' Home Conservatorship services, which include comprehensive estate management for individuals deemed
