About this resource
This public health initiative aims to enhance health outcomes and promote lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. The program offers nutrition education classes along with additional services such as breastfeeding support, monthly benefits for nutritious foods, and connections to community resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must meet four requirements: -Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not mandatory) -Be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under the age of 5. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child. -Have a household income that is at or below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Families enrolled in OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically considered income-eligible for WIC. -Demonstrate a nutritional risk (to be evaluated during the appointment).
