About this resource

This initiative provides a temporary housing intervention for low-income veterans and their families who are either homeless or at significant risk of homelessness. Eligible veterans and their families can receive housing assistance through case management. Support may encompass move-in or rental aid, eviction prevention, benefits guidance, employment and educational resources, legal assistance regarding housing issues, and other costs that promote stable housing. Participants must be open to collaborating with a caseworker and may need to maintain sobriety. Availability of assistance is contingent on funding.

Intake Procedure: Schedule an appointment via phone or visit in person.

Who can use this

  • Veterans and their families who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, earning at or below 50% of the Area Median Income, and with a discharge status other than 'Dishonorable.' The veteran must reside in the household.

  • DD214, photo ID, Social Security card, proof of income
