County Veterans Service Offices (CVSOs) act as primary access points for veterans, their dependents, and survivors to learn about available benefits, resources, and entitlements. They offer a variety of services, including: -Counseling and assistance with veterans' benefits claims, along with advocacy throughout the claims process -Guidance on federal VA benefits and additional state and federal ancillary benefits -Help with educational benefit claims -Support for veterans seeking health care enrollment -Aid in obtaining military service documents -Information on service-connected and non-service-related disability and survivor benefits -Burial benefits -Details regarding veteran home loans -Oregon Veterans' Home Conservatorship services, which provide comprehensive estate management for those legally recognized as "protected persons" under Oregon law.
Intake Procedure: Individuals can walk in or call to schedule an appointment.
Fees: There are no associated fees.
Who can use this
- Veterans with any discharge status except dishonorable and their immediate family members, including spouses and children.
