About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) assists families who are employed, pursuing education, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) with child care costs, which also encompass registration fees.

Application Method: Applications can be submitted online, via phone, or in person at a nearby ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.

Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, referred to as a copayment (copay). The copay amount varies based on the size of the family and their income level.
