About this resource
This initiative provides a Washington state-funded early education program designed to ready children for Kindergarten by enhancing their social and cognitive skills as well as school readiness. It operates in conjunction with the federal Head Start program. Enrollment is limited, and acceptance is determined by need rather than a first-come, first-served basis, with priority for Head Start given to children aged 4 and 5 who are not yet eligible for Kindergarten.
Intake Procedure: For further details, please call or check the website.
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.

- Children aged 3-5 who meet income requirements or have a disability are eligible, but those turning 5 by August 31 cannot participate as they qualify for public school Kindergarten.
