About this resource
Summer EBT is a program designed to assist families in purchasing food for their school-aged children when school is not in session. Each summer, families receive a one-time payment of $120 on an EBT card for each eligible child to be used for groceries. Any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days after they are issued. A helpline is available for inquiries regarding general questions, eligibility verification, application status, and EBT card issues.
Application Process: Families can apply for benefits for 2026 at any time by filling out an application.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
