Bridging Communities

Bridging Communities is a family-led initiative focused on supporting families in Southern Oregon who have children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The organization connects families to one another, helping reduce isolation while building a strong, inclusive community network. They provide peer support, host meetups and events, and help families navigate available services and resources. Their work emphasizes empowerment through connection, ensuring families have access to information, advocacy opportunities, and community-based support systems. Bridging Communities also collaborates with local organizations, schools, and agencies to promote more inclusive environments and improve access to services for individuals with disabilities and their families.
