Community Volunteer Network
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides older adults with the chance to volunteer and build connections with children and youth. Participants earn a tax-free stipend for each hour they serve, along with transportation reimbursement, paid time off, training, and insurance coverage for accidents, personal liability, and excess automobile liability, in addition to receiving community recognition. Notably, the stipend does not impact any other State or Federal benefits participants may receive.
