Hearts With A Mission
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative involves a collaboration of local agencies and churches dedicated to preventing child abuse and assisting at-risk families during crises by offering out-of-home respite care. Volunteer families form connections with at-risk families and may welcome at-risk children into their homes. The program aims to promote child welfare by providing a secure alternative to child welfare custody and focuses on preventing child abuse by offering at-risk parents a safe, temporary environment for their children, thereby reducing the risk of custody loss and potential abuse or neglect incidents.
