County Veterans Service Offices (CVSOs) act as the primary source for veterans, their dependents, and survivors to access information about benefits, resources, and entitlements. They offer a variety of services, including: - Counseling and assistance with veterans' benefits claims, along with advocacy during the claims process - Guidance on federal VA benefits and additional state and federal benefits - Help with educational benefit claims - Support for veterans seeking health care enrollment - Aid in obtaining military service documents - Information on service-connected and non-service-related disability and survivor benefits - Burial benefits - Guidance regarding veteran home loans.

Intake Procedure: Schedule an appointment by phone.

Fees: No charges apply.

Who can use this

  • Veterans with any discharge status except dishonorable and their immediate family members (spouse, un-remarried surviving spouse, child, or stepchild) are eligible.

Documents you may need

  • DD214 along with any pertinent records including, but not limited to: Medical records, Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates, Death Certificates
