About this resource
This program provides rentals of track chairs and Para Golfers for outdoor recreational activities. Please note that volunteers are unable to assist with transferring individuals into or out of the track chair. -Fixed Location Chair: Chairs are delivered to specific fixed sites at various Oregon beaches and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park in California. -Tow and Go: Those with a personal vehicle can tow the chair to outdoor events, with an enclosed trailer supplied.
Intake Procedure: For more details, please visit the website or send an email. -Fixed Location Chair: Requests made less than 72 hours before the desired reservation time may not be accommodated. -Tow and Go: It is advisable to submit requests at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure proper processing.
Fees: There are no charges for this service.
Who can use this
- Individuals with limited mobility are eligible; for the Tow and Go option, usage of the provided trailer is necessary, and an insurance check is required.
