About this resource
This initiative delivers comprehensive support via tailored case management, parenting education, home visits, and group activities. Children engage in therapeutic classrooms that maintain low adult-child ratios, while families benefit from home visits aimed at fostering healthy parenting and child development. The Preschool Promise is available at all sites except La Pine.
Intake Process: You can walk in, call, or check the website for further details. To enter, press the doorbell at Juniper Junction.
Location: At the intersection of NE 10th and A Streets.
Cost: There are no fees involved.
Who can use this
- -Services: For children aged 6 weeks to 3 years from high-risk families -Preschool Promise: For ages 3-5, must turn 3 by September 1st -Both parent and child need to be enrolled to access most services. "High-risk" generally refers to households facing multiple challenges such as poverty, high stress, depression, mental illness, unreliable transportation, single parenthood, criminal records, history of child abuse, substance abuse, unemployment, low self-esteem, limited education, anger issues, homelessness, or social isolation.
