About this resource

The Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC) supports families who are employed, pursuing education, or receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) in managing child care expenses, which also encompasses registration fees.

Application Process: Applications can be submitted online, via phone, or in person at a nearby ODHS Self Sufficiency Branch Office.

Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning that many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, referred to as a copayment (copay). The copayment amount is determined by the family's size and income level.
