Hearts With A Mission
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative involves a coalition of local organizations and churches dedicated to preventing child abuse and assisting families in crisis by providing temporary out-of-home care. Volunteer families foster connections with at-risk families and may welcome at-risk children into their homes. The program aims to promote child welfare by offering a safe alternative to child welfare custody, as well as preventing child abuse by giving at-risk parents a secure, temporary environment for their children, thus reducing the risk of custody loss and potential neglect or abuse incidents.
