Babies First! is a public health nurse home visiting initiative in Oregon designed to boost health outcomes for at-risk children through preventative measures and early problem detection. The visiting nurse offers health and developmental assessments, nutrition and health education, guidance on infant and child development, breastfeeding assistance, and connections to community resources tailored to the family's needs.

Costs: No fees involved.
Who can use this
- Families with children aged 0-5 who are at an increased risk for health complications, including factors such as drug exposure, prematurity, teenage parenthood, at-risk caregivers, domestic violence, or concerns from parents or providers.
