Literacy Council For Josephine County
Community Resource
About this resource
This initiative provides individualized tutoring sessions where students can develop their reading, writing, and English as a second language skills, strengthen basic math abilities, and prepare for the citizenship examination. It also aids in enhancing job-related skills, passing the written driver's test, completing job applications and various forms, interpreting medicine labels and signs, and learning to utilize computers for educational purposes. A specialized program is available for individuals with dyslexia to assist them in reading, writing, and spelling. Additionally, it supports students in meeting the requirements for enrollment at Rogue Community College (RCC) and helps them prepare for their GED in subjects such as language arts, math, science, and social studies.
