About this resource
This service provides in-home assistance for eligible seniors residing in their own homes. It includes a range of services such as housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, case management is available to aid seniors in making cost-effective and suitable decisions regarding their care requirements. The number of service hours per individual can vary based on assessed needs and available local funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours each month. Situations where Oregon Project Independence may be beneficial include when a person needs personal and home care support due to injury or illness, or when they are recovering at home after hospitalization.

Fees: The costs are determined on a sliding scale, calculated based on monthly household income minus monthly medical expenses.
Who can use this
- Individuals aged 60 and above, as well as those of any age with Alzheimer's disease or a related condition.
