About this resource

Employment Related Day Care (ERDC) offers financial aid to working families to assist with child care expenses, facilitating access to quality care for those balancing work and parenting. Support is contingent on available funding.

Application Process: Fill out an application and participate in an interview with a DHS representative -You can print, complete, and send the application via the website -Visit an ODHS Self-Sufficiency Office in person (note that Processing Centers do not accept walk-ins) -Contact your local ODHS Self-Sufficiency Office to request a mailed application.

Costs: ERDC operates as a subsidy program, meaning many families are still responsible for a portion of the child care expenses, known as a copayment (copay). The copay amount varies based on family size and income.
