About this resource
Summer EBT is a grocery assistance initiative designed to support families in purchasing food for their school-aged children when school is not in session. Each summer, families will receive a single annual payment of $120 on an EBT card for every eligible child to help with grocery expenses. It is important to note that any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days from the issuance date. A helpline is available for inquiries regarding general information, eligibility verification, application status, and EBT card issues.
Application Process: Families can apply for benefits for 2026 at any time by submitting an application.
Costs: There are no fees associated with this program.
