About this resource
This public health initiative focuses on improving health outcomes and shaping lifelong nutrition and health practices for women, infants, and children. It includes nutrition education classes, breastfeeding assistance, monthly benefits for supplemental nutritious foods, and referrals to local resources.

Who can use this
- To qualify for WIC, applicants must: - Reside in Oregon (US citizenship is not necessary) - Be a pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding woman, or an infant or child under 5 years old. Fathers, foster parents, and other guardians may apply for a qualifying child. - Have a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). Families enrolled in OHP, SNAP, or TANF are automatically considered income-eligible for WIC. - Demonstrate a nutritional risk (to be evaluated during the appointment).
