About this resource
Summer EBT is a grocery assistance program designed to support families in purchasing food for their school-aged children when school is not in session. Each summer, families receive a one-time payment of $120 per eligible child on an EBT card to be used for groceries. Any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days after they are issued. A helpline is available for inquiries regarding general questions, eligibility verification, application status, and EBT card issues.
Application Process: Families can apply for 2026 benefits at any time by filling out an application.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
