It also includes adult day services, which are community-based programs that operate for part of the day. Registered nurse services are available for one-time or intermittent assessments, service planning, medication oversight, provider training, and education. Additionally, case management and options counseling are offered to assist individuals in making informed decisions about services that align with their strengths, needs, and preferences. The number of service hours provided to each individual can vary based on assessed needs and available funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours per month. Importantly, benefits are not subject to estate recovery.
