Community Resource
About this resource
This program delivers in-home support to eligible older adults residing in their own homes. Services encompass housekeeping, personal assistance, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, it provides case management to assist older individuals in making informed and economical choices regarding their care requirements. The number of service hours allocated per person varies based on assessed needs and available local funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours monthly. Scenarios where Oregon Project Independence may be suitable include cases where an individual needs personal and home care support due to injury or illness, or when someone has been discharged from the hospital and requires assistance during their recovery at home.
Intake Procedure: Interested individuals should call or visit the website for further details; note that some services might have a waiting list.
Fees: Charges are determined on a sliding scale, calculated based on the household's monthly income after deducting monthly medical expenses.
