About this resource
Summer EBT is a program designed to assist families in purchasing food for their school-aged children when school is not in session. Each summer, families receive a one-time payment of $120 on an EBT card for every eligible child to be used for groceries. These benefits will expire 122 days after they are issued if not utilized. A helpline is available for inquiries regarding general questions, eligibility checks, application status, and EBT card concerns.
Intake Procedure: Applications for 2026 benefits can be submitted at any time by filling out an application.
Travel/Location: Accessible via LTD Routes # 30, 32, 41, 43, 76, 93, EMX (Bay U).
Fees: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Families may automatically qualify for Summer EBT if their child is approved through an application or attends a school that participates in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) or School Breakfast Program (SBP) and meets income guidelines.
