About this resource
This program provides monthly food assistance to individuals and families, enabling them to purchase food. Benefits are distributed via an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card, referred to as the Oregon Trail Card.
Application Steps: Interested individuals must apply and undergo an interview with an ODHS eligibility worker. Applications can be made online, by phone, in person, or via a paper application.
Transportation: Accessible via LTD Routes # 30, 32, 41, 43, 76, 93, and EMX (Bay U).
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
Who can use this
- Eligibility is assessed individually, requiring applicants to reside in Oregon, have a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, and be US citizens or qualified non-citizens.
Documents you may need
- No documents are required to submit an application, however, people may be asked to provide the following: -Identification -Proof of income -Social Security numbers for everyone in your household who wants benefits -Proof of immigration status for eligible non-citizens
