About this resource
Summer EBT is a program designed to offer grocery benefits to families, enabling them to purchase food for their school-aged children during the summer months when school is not in session. Each year, families receive a one-time payment of $120 on an EBT card for every eligible child to help with grocery expenses. It's important to note that any unused Summer EBT benefits will expire 122 days after they are issued. A helpline is available for inquiries related to general questions, eligibility verification, application status, and EBT card issues.
Application Process: Families can apply for benefits for 2026 at any time by filling out an application.
Cost: There are no fees associated with this program.
